Gloster Bend Recreation Area

Gloster Bend Recreation Area will be closed Oct. 6-8 and Oct. 27-29. Other parks, such as Shaffer Bend Recreation Area, on FM 1431 will remain open as an alternative.

Spend the Day in the Hill Country

At Gloster Bend Recreation Area, you can sit back and take in panoramic views of Lake Travis or explore over a mile of beautiful shoreline and two secluded coves. Make sure to bring your kayaks and fishing poles for a day of fun on the water using the park’s convenient boat ramp.
