Film Permits
Filming and photography
I think we can both agree that the Texas landscape provides some pretty amazing backdrops, right? So we're inviting you to come capture it. Organizations and individuals wanting to film or take photographs on LCRA property for commercial use, stock photography, student projects, television, you name it - must receive permission first. If interested, go ahead and fill out the application at the bottom, and our team will be in touch shortly.

Not only do we have wilderness and water, but we also can offer you office space, gymnasiums and a variety of other facilities to shoot. Tell us what you are looking for, and we'll get you on the right track (or trail since that's our specialty).

Minor Production 1-15 people and no more than five vehicles | $750 per day + $250 administrative fee |
Major I Production 16-45 crew members and/or 6-10 vehicles | $1,750 per day +$250 administrative fee |
Major II Production 45+ crew members and/or more than 10 vehicles | $3,500 per day +$500 administrative fee |
Rush Charge For applications needing to be processed in less than five business days | Minor/Major I – $400 Major II – $800 |
LCRA Staff Support For staff support during the first 8 hours each day | $75 per hour per staff member |
LCRA Staff Support For staff support during each hour over and above the first 8 hours | $112.50 per hour per staff member |
Materials LCRA-provided materials/supplies | 25% markup on retail cost |
