The Stars at Night

Deep in the heart of Texas, discover why the stars at night are big and bright at Eagle Eye Observatory. Nestled on a hilltop along Lake Buchanan, this state-of-the-art observatory brings the vast sky within reach for gazers of all ages. High-powered telescopes, advanced imaging technology and passionate astronomer Jim Sheets (with over 65 years of experience) work together to make the universe come alive. Learn, wonder and be amazed at the beauty of our state's sky.

Please note - visitors can bring their own telescopes anytime for self-guided discovery just outside the observatory. Also, make it an overnight experience for your group and book one of the park's tent or RV campsites.
